Aspire launches town centre hub

Doncaster’s Drug and Alcohol Service has launched its Central Hub.

Following the successful launch of its other community hubs in Bentley, Mexborough and Stainforth, Aspire Drug and Alcohol Service held a drop-in event at Sinclair House on Thorne Road, to share information with the local community on how the town centre-based Central Hub will support people with drug and alcohol problems – and their families – to beat their addictions, and go on to successfully lead fulfilling, independent lives within their communities.

Aspire Service Manager Stuart Green said: “We’re delighted with the success of our local hubs!

“They mean we can provide our service in local communities close to where people live, so it’s as easy as possible for them to get the help and support they need.

“The Central Hub is open five days a week and provides a dedicated point of access for people who live in and around Doncaster town centre to engage with treatment and work towards their recovery from drug and alcohol addiction.”
